This is a unique proposition for an ambitious and self-sufficient individual who wants to grow and develop with the business, by generating your own work and supervising juniors. Ideal candidates should have 4-6+ years' PQE in commercial contracts.


We work with a growing client-base of local, national and international companies and have a particularly strong reputation in

sustainable/renewable energy

(including waste-to-energy), as well as the wider industrial and infrastructure sectors. We frequently advise on transactions and contracts of national and international significance, and we regularly work opposite some of the largest UK law firms. The team's work is very diverse and the type of commercial work that you will not find anywhere else in Kent. There is also an element of corporate banking and finance work, asset, share and restructuring deals and general SME commercial contract work. We are also open to individuals experienced in construction, that have covered other commercial work.


The Corporate & Commercial team currently consists of 11 legal advisors (including Partners, Associates and Solicitors) and 3 support staff. The Commercial team is led by Erol Huseyin and Alex Cosgrove, both of whom joined Brachers from predominant London/US firms and are looking to expand the team after a period of sustained growth and success. You will be expected to work independently, as well as with your colleagues, dealing with a range of interesting work and clients.
