Job Description


Our client, one of the UK\'s leading Energy providers is looking to recruit a Commercial Assistant for their already established team working in their Aztec office in Bristol. This role is working on our clients new HPC site which brings excitement and new challenges!

As a Commercial Assistant on the Responsible Designer contracts for the HPC project, your responsibilities will include but won\'t be limited to the below.

  • Day to day management of CEMAR within a \'super-user\' capacity, Work with wider team to implement
  • Compensation Events and General Communications via CEMAR
  • Own and maintain team activity trackers and management information, for example.
  • Ensure all Compensation Events for the Responsible Designer (RD) are entered on the relevant tracker and assigned to the correct scope of work, sequence, clauses, and Commercial Manager to review
  • Provide Engineering data analysis using Power BI
  • Preparation of Application for Payment documents on a monthly basis
  • Provide monthly cost & cash forecast Finance Control Manager
  • Management of SAP Purchase Orders for 3rd party spend (Purchase Order adjustments, completion of Service Entry Sheets)
  • Reporting and providing support to a Commercial Managers including assessing the scope, duration and expected value of each of the Contracts against the Contract Authorised Sum
  • Other assistance to the team as and when required, including minutes of meeting, managing and monitoring of trackers, diary management

Please note, if successful you will be employed by Manpower working on a temporary ongoing basis until December 2023 with scope for extension. Our client is operating a Hybrid working model, therefore the need to be onsite a number of days a week is essential but there is scope to WFH.

You will be expected to undertake a drugs and alcohol test as well as be security checked to BPSS Level.
