Casual Car Documentation- The successful candidate will be a designated Casual Car User which means that car journeys may be necessary on an occasional basis, but are not essential to the role. If you do drive, you must always hold a full valid driving licence and provide your own car for use at work, as well as provide all the appropriate documentation. You will receive an allowance per mile of business

We are looking for a driven, RICS qualified Commercial Surveyor to join our dynamic Property Management Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to expand your expertise and deliver high-quality service across a diverse and high value portfolio. The role holder will provide professional advice undertaking a comprehensive range of commercial property management activities and fee earning work reporting to a Principal Surveyor.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional advice across a range of commercial property management activities maximising revenue returns.
• Mentor graduate and technical staff.
• Manage the Investment Estate, ensuring legal compliance.
• Support Strategic Housing acquisitions and disposals.
• Assist the Development team in delivering regeneration objectives.

This is a unique opportunity to work within a newly insourced property management service, managing a 24M per annum+ investment portfolio that includes flagship City Centre assets.
The role requires a chartered estate surveyor with experience of landlord and tenant matters, including negotiating leases, licenses and managing other property transactions who will play a significant role in implementing the Councils Commercial Estate Strategy.

About the Candidate
The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of work and you will need to demonstrate knowledge/experience of the following:

• A qualified chartered surveyor with post qualification property management experience.
• Track record of successful delivery in a property environment.
• A knowledge of the property market and the role the City Council plays in regeneration.
• Experience in undertaking valuation and all elements of property management with demonstrable evidence of delivering successful outcomes.
• Experience of the successful delivery of effective property management solutions.
