We are looking for an experienced and strategic leader to join our Adults Commissioning Team as Commercial Team Manager. This is a key role in shaping how we commission accommodation and community-based support for adults and children across Wiltshire.
You will lead a team of Brokerage Team Leaders, Brokerage Officers, CPLI Assessment Officers and Business Support, working closely with Commercial and Commissioning Leads to ensure programmes are delivered effectively. Your focus will be on developing strategies, policies and processes for the brokerage function, ensuring contracts and providers are used efficiently to deliver best value for the council and positive outcomes for residents.
We are seeking someone with strong commercial awareness, expert knowledge of social care policy and legislation, and significant experience in commissioning or procurement within health and social care. You will have a proven track record in leading complex programmes, managing budgets, and building partnerships across sectors. Excellent communication, analytical and negotiation skills are essential, along with the ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
If you are passionate about improving lives through strategic commissioning and have the leadership skills to inspire high performance, we would love to hear from you.
