Role Overview

To facilitate & support Commercial and Engineering activities in respect of costing new and existing products, setting up bills of Materials, speaking with customers, suppliers and contractors to obtain subcontract costs. Working within the Engineering team, the role will be responsible for the interpreting technical information and engineering drawings, gathering and communication of information to relevant stakeholders and engage in technical dialogue with Customers

Duties & Key Responsibilities

Key Functions:

Assists the CSR team with contract review of technical products. Assists the Sales team with contract review of technical products. Creates BOM and routings, full ERP Setup including costing for all products. Creates Cost sheets for all products. Control of bill of materials, route and Design specification data. Liaise with stakeholders across the business, to gather information and engage in dialogue with Customers
Key Accountabilities:

Create and maintain Design master data in terms of item bill of materials, manufacturing route and specifications Read and interpret engineering drawings, and evaluate in accordance to manufacturing capabilities Obtain Costings from Suppliers Providing a contribution to the Company's continuous improvement program and specific project work as required.

Qualifications / Skillsets

Engineering Qualification (e.g ONC/HNC/HND/BTEC/T-Level) Reading drawings and understanding and applying tolerances Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with Customers, vendors and employees Knowledge/Use of ERP/MRP systems Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Attention to detail in handling operations. In particular, knowledge of Oracle NetSuite would be advantageous.

Pay

25,000 - 35,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Schedule

Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 5pm, Friday 8:30am - 1:30pm

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
