Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tyre Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in the use of both power and hand tools. This role involves maintaining and servicing tyres for various vehicles, ensuring safety and performance standards are met. Excellent customer service skills are essential as you will be interacting with clients to provide them with the best solutions for their tyre needs.

Responsibilities

Inspect, repair, and replace tyres on a variety of vehicles, ensuring adherence to safety standards. Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively to perform tyre installations and repairs. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and offering expert advice on tyre maintenance. Assist with heavy lifting of tyres and related equipment as required. Keep accurate records of services performed and maintain inventory of tyres and supplies.

Experience

Previous experience as a Tyre Technician or in a similar mechanical role is preferred but not essential. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot common tyre issues. Familiarity with using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients. Physical capability to perform heavy lifting tasks as part of daily responsibilities.

Pay: 13.00-13.50 per hour
