Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a skilled commercial tyre fitter to join our growing team in maintaining and servicing all car, truck, plant and tractor tyres. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and be able to work effectively with hand and power tools.
We also have a mobile tyre fitting van with a good contract in place so the ideal candidate would be able to do the on call work that is out of hours, 1 week on 2 weeks off of on call.
Responsibilities
- Mounting, balancing, and rotating tyres
- Inspecting tyres for wear and damage
- Repairing punctures and minor tyre damage
- Maintaining accurate records of tyre services performed
- Assisting customers with tyre selection and providing basic advice on tyre maintenance
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools for tyre service tasks
- Ability to lift heavy tyres and perform physical tasks
- Mechanical knowledge for diagnosing tyre issues
- Experience with power tools for efficient tyre service
- Strong customer service skills for interacting with clients
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From 33,000.00 per year
