As a commercial combined underwriter, you'll be handling existing business cases across all of our specialisms.

What you'll be doing

Underwriting a renewal book across a wide array of specialisms, including charity, care, heritage, education, office and leisure You'll have your own monthly renewal allocation and also deal with a select few of our large cases Day to day work including mid-term adjustments, client queries, reviewing surveys - all to a high standard, with clear and effective communication Communicating with our brokers to deliver consistently high service levels and retention of policies Collaborating with other members of the team, including technical referral points, and wider networking across the Benefact Group to incorporate Risk Management, Claims, Sales etc.

What you'll need to have

Commercial combined / Property underwriting experience Cert CII qualified or a willingness to achieve qualifications within an agreed timescale Attention to detail Resilient, positive and pro-active with a can-do attitude Ability to challenge and identify opportunities for improvement
