We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles. This role requires hands-on experience with coach/bus repair. Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
Perform maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake replacements, and tyre rotations.
Utilise hand tools and power tools for assembly and disassembly of vehicle components.
Execute fabrication tasks as needed to create or modify parts.
Interpret schematics and technical manuals to guide repairs and installations.
Carry out welding tasks for structural repairs or modifications.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
Familiarity with electrical systems in vehicles, including diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs or maintenance activities.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
