Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and reliable commercial vehicle tyre fitter to join our team. The role involves the maintenance, repair and replacement of tyres across our fleet of HGV units, trailers and tractors and trailers. successful applicant will also be responsible for responding to roadside breakdowns.
Key Responsibilities:
Remove and fit tyres using power and hand tools. Inspect fleet for damage, wear and correct inflation. Perform tyre repairs, replacements and routine maintenance. Conduct regular fleet checks and rectify faults. Respond to breakdowns and provide on site tyre support as needed.
Requirements
:Previous experience in tyre fitting essential. Proficient with power tools. Physically fit and capable of heavy manual handling. UK standard car licence essential. Ideally hols REACT licence. Reliable, self motivated and able to work independently
Working Hours and Compensation
45 hour contract Regular overtime available Core hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm Weekend and callout overtime required
