The Role
Responsible for establishing positive customer relationships, carrying out site surveys accurately, assessing damage and specifying and completing documentation in respect of repair, replacement or repudiation while working towards KPIs on commercial surveyors.
Key Responsibilities
Meet where possible with customers on site, explain the role of Evander, the process followed, the service standards to be met and discuss client requirements and options available
Validate each claim to ensure consistent with damage reported and to repudiate if necessary
Undertake a safety risk assessment and record on appropriate documentation with suitable method statements
Collect payments from client
Undertake assigned installation/repair jobs to appropriate standards and time allocation
Undertake all work in accordance with company Health and Safety policies and practices including wearing the correct PPE
Complete and return all documentation accurately, fully and legibly for each job ensuring client compliance
Ensure possession of all necessary goods, tools and equipment to complete all assigned work
Ensure that appropriate photographs are taken of all damage
Maintain and keep in good condition the company vehicle and all issued property and equipment, ensuring the van is roadworthy
Ensure vehicle checks are complete on a weekly basis on fleet app
Work in a safe manner, always taking into consideration your colleagues, customers and the public
Follow all company direction in terms of health and safety updates and toolbox talks
Report all near misses and accidents through SHE app
Use and keep up to date your individual MyHR details and administer any requests and advise of any issues immediately
Ensure all van stock is up to date and report any shortages at the earliest opportunity
Create a favourable and professional image in respect of Evander to our customers, insurance companies, colleagues and the public
Ensure that all trainees are given appropriate training and guidance so that they meet the requirements of their development plan
Work towards all KPIs set by the business, such as average life cycle of a claim, repair ratio and conversion
Ensure that information security policies and procedures are adhered to as defined in the Evander Information Security Management System (ISMS), and that all information security incidents are reported promptly
Key Deliverables
Surveying experience gained within the commercial glazing environment
Driving Licence
Minimum of level 2 NVQ in fenestration or MTC card
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
