Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes under the guidance of senior chefs.
Follow recipes, specifications, and quality standards set by the Head Chef and kitchen management.
Support Chef de Partie and senior kitchen staff during service to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food safety across all kitchen areas.
Carry out basic food preparation tasks, including portioning, prepping ingredients, and plating support.
Assist with stock rotation and storage to minimise waste and maintain freshness.
Ensure compliance with all food safety, health, and hygiene regulations at all times.
Demonstrate a willingness to learn new techniques and develop culinary skills.
Requirements
Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided.
A basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
A genuine passion for cooking and the hospitality industry.
Good organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
