Duties
Assist in the preparation of meals, ensuring all ingredients are prepped and ready for cooking.
Support chefs in cooking and plating dishes according to restaurant standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
Participate in catering events as required, contributing to menu planning and execution.
Help with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service.
Engage in continuous learning about culinary techniques and food presentation.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is advantageous.
Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain hygiene standards.
