Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Support senior kitchen staff in daily operations, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Help with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and storing food items properly.
Participate in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Skills
Proficiency in food production techniques and culinary skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to take initiative when required.
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food preparation.
Previous experience in a restaurant or similar kitchen setting is advantageous but not essential.
