Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Chef to join our team in preparing delicious, high-quality dishes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a creative flair in the kitchen, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. You will be working under the Head Chef and Sous Chef, contributing to an exciting and dynamic kitchen environment.

About the Role:

Hours:

15-25 hours per week, with the flexibility to work across all days of the week.

Additional Shifts:

Extra hours available during holidays and peak seasonal times.

Tips:

A fair share of daily tips, ranging from 10-45, with an average of around 20 per day.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with food preparation and culinary activities under the guidance of senior chefs. Helping to create innovative menus that meet quality standards. Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations at all times. Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen. Overseeing the presentation of dishes before they are served. Collaborating with management to develop new dishes and specials. Assisting in the KP section and working across all sections of the kitchen, which includes both the hot and cold side of service.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of food production, culinary techniques, and kitchen management. A solid understanding of food safety practices. Excellent teamwork and leadership skills. The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
