Role Overview:
As a Commis Chef, you will be an essential member of our kitchen team, providing support to senior chefs and having the opportunity to develop your culinary skills in a dynamic and creative environment. You'll work in both our gastro pub and fine dining areas, helping us deliver exceptional dishes that highlight the best of seasonal produce.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in Food Preparation:
Help prepare ingredients and dishes under the guidance and direction of senior chefs, ensuring consistency and quality.
Focus on Seasonal Offerings:
Participate in delivering dishes that emphasize seasonal flavours and locally-sourced ingredients.
Support Kitchen Operations:
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the kitchen, assisting with tasks such as cleaning and food storage.
Learn and Develop:
Take advantage of learning opportunities offered by senior chefs, enhancing your culinary knowledge and skills.
Contribute to Team Success:
Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and a positive working atmosphere.
