Job Description

We're currently on the look out for kitchen staff, whether you're an experienced hand or an aspiring chef we're offering an amazing opportunity to get your foot in the door of a well equip, well managed and totally fresh food kitchen.

You will gain an understanding of an independent busy work environment, an appreciation for small independent producers, quality ingredients and ethical produce, seasonality in food, and most importantly flavour.

Tasks would include:

Assisting our team of 4 chefs in preparing vegetables and chips as well as assisting the chefs in their daily kitchen chores. Ensuring the preparation of hot and cold food for service to the highest standard Running sections of the kitchen during service Ensuring a consistently high level of food service at all times through knowledge of menu items and awareness of commodities used, preparation, methods and cooking Assisting as necessary with stock control and identifying methods for improving food service Ensuring kitchen areas and equipment are cleaned and relevant health and hygiene procedures are followed at all times

We are very proud of the fact that our current kitchen team of 4 have all been with us for at least ten years which demonstrates our positive working environment.

A typical working Week is 5 days, 4 of these days are split shifts and the working hours per day are 9am-2.30pm and 5.30pm - 9.30pm. Sunday hours are 9am-5pm

Pay: 27,500.00-31,000.00 per year
