As a Chef, you will be responsible for delivering our new and improved varied menu and ensuring that our kitchen maintains the highest standards of culinary excellence.
ROLE OVERVIEW
As Chef at Guildford Mulligans, you will play a key role in launching and shaping the success of this brand-new venue. With a focus on Safety, Service, and Operations, you'll ensure seamless Open and Close of the Kitchen, maintaining high standards of dishes while supporting the team to create an energising, high-performance culture. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an exciting new opening and create a fantastic food offering for our new site!
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with the restaurant's menu and standards.
Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring that food safety protocols are strictly followed.
Maintain positive and effective relationships with customers and colleagues.
Assist with the care and maintenance of all FnB assets, inventory, and resources of the location.
Monitor all areas of the Kitchen and manage issues in a timely manner.
Open and Close shifts ensuring compliance, health and safety, service and standards are maintained.
Ensure statutory compliance with all BGL Health & Safety procedures and law. Completing mandatory checks and passing audits.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
Ensure 100% compliance with site health and safety training at all times.
Experience
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant environment
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
Excellent culinary skills with a passion for delivering innovative dishes.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
