As a
Commis Chef
, you will play a key role in the preparation and presentation of food for breakfast, lunch, dinner, room service, and buffet offerings. Working closely with the kitchen team, you'll ensure that every dish meets our high standards in taste, appearance, and hygiene. Key Responsibilities
Prepare and present high-quality dishes with flair and attention to detail.
Support with mis en place and food preparation across all meal periods.
Work efficiently to support A la Carte, buffet, and function service requirements.
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in all food preparation and storage areas.
Follow stock rotation procedures and contribute to reducing food waste.
Collaborate closely with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Assist with the training and guidance of apprentices or junior staff.
Adhere to all Health & Safety, food hygiene, and HACCP standards.

Qualifications
We're looking for someone who is energetic, team-oriented, and eager to learn. If you meet the following, we'd love to hear from you:
Previous experience in a professional kitchen or relevant culinary training/apprenticeship (preferred but not essential).
Strong understanding of basic food preparation techniques.
Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A proactive and positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
Knowledge of food hygiene standards and safe food handling practices.
