Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of ingredients and dishes according to recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
Support senior chefs in cooking and plating dishes during service times.
Help with inventory management, including receiving and storing deliveries.
Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.
Skills
Proficiency in food preparation techniques and a strong understanding of culinary practices.
Experience working in a kitchen or restaurant environment is advantageous.
