Duties

Assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes under the supervision of senior chefs. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Support in the management of food inventory, including stock rotation and minimising waste. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service delivery. Participate in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes. Help train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative learning environment. Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring that all dishes meet the restaurant's quality expectations.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential; we welcome enthusiastic individuals eager to learn. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation is advantageous. Strong team management skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. A passion for culinary arts and a desire to grow within the hospitality industry is essential. Leadership qualities that inspire confidence and motivate fellow team members are highly valued.

Pay: 14.00-15.00 per hour
