Job Description

Commis Chef (Maternity Cover) at Victoria & Albert Bar, Marylebone Train Station, London



Pay Rate: Pay Rate is 12.90 per hour (+ as a little incentive, you will earn an extra 1.20 per hour for hours worked between midnight and 6am, bringing your rate of pay to 14.10 per hour.)



Hours of operation are 10:00am to 11:00pm. Working flexibly across weekdays, weekends, bank and public holidays.





Due to some responsibilities within the Commis Chef role,

applicants will need to be 18 years of age or over

to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts and will be required to handle and serve alcohol.

Minimum 1 year of experience require in the similar role.

AS A COMMIS CHEF, YOU'LL:





Help with deliveries. Prepare meats and vegetables. Assist fellow chefs. Assist in stock rotation. Contribute to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards. Demonstrate effective time management for preparation and food service. Understand precise measurements of dish ingredients and portion sizes. Execute daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning duties as directed by the Kitchen Manager. Confidently cook completed dishes from the menu.
