Overview

We are seeking talented and passionate Chefs to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production, and preparation, with a keen understanding of food safety and hospitality standards. As a Commis Chef, you will play a vital role in supporting the Head Chef and kitchen team in preparation and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring a smooth operation and the highest quality of dishes are served to our guests.

Responsibilities

Assist the Head Chef and kitchen team in planning and directing food preparation activities. Maintain and adhere to food safety and hygiene standards. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the restaurant's menu. Support with inventory management, including ordering supplies and ensuring proper storage. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area. Ensure that all dishes are presented beautifully and meet quality standards before serving.

Qualifications

Experience as a Preparation Cook or in a similar role within a restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent culinary skills with a passion for food preparation and presentation. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. A relevant culinary qualification is preferred but not essential.
