As a Commis, you will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen operations by assisting in food preparation and ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards. Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of ingredients and dishes as directed by senior chef Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Support the cooking team during service by preparing garnishes, sauces, and other components. Help with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and storing food items correctly. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service. Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential; a passion for cooking is key. Strong understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards. Ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating good leadership qualities when required. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting. Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods is advantageous.

Pay: From 13.00 per hour
