The Fox Hall Inn, a landmark establishment nestled in the stunning scenery of the Yorkshire Dales near Richmond, is seeking an ambitious and talented Commis to redefine its culinary identity under new management.

This is a unique opportunity for a creative and driven chef to join the team in our kitchen, revitalise our menu, and build a reputation for exceptional dining. The Fox Hall Inn is undergoing a period of exciting transformation, including a full refurbishment, and we are looking for a passionate individual to be a cornerstone of our success.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in this, championing the highest standards of food safety and kitchen management from day one. The Role:

As a Commis you will have be passionate about food and service you will also be :

Developing and executing an innovative and seasonal menu that showcases the best of local Yorkshire produce. Ensuring the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene are consistently maintained. Collaborating with the team to create a seamless and memorable dining experience for our guests.

The Ideal Candidate:

A genuine passion for fresh, high-quality food. A creative and enthusiastic approach to menu development. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. An unwavering commitment to food safety and hygiene. Excellent financial acumen and experience in managing kitchen budgets. A resilient and positive attitude, with a desire to be part of a team dedicated to rebuilding and excelling.
