We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Commis to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen operations, ensuring that food production is executed to the highest standards of quality and safety. Duties
Assist in the preparation and cooking of food items according to recipes and standards set by the Head Chef.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring all areas comply with food safety regulations.
Support senior kitchen staff in food production tasks, including chopping, mixing, and plating dishes.
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure all necessary ingredients are available for service.
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for menu development and improvement of kitchen processes.
Help train and supervise junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive learning environment.
Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
