We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes while ensuring food safety and maintaining a clean workspace. This role requires strong teamwork and leadership skills, as you will be collaborating with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Supervise and manage kitchen staff during service to ensure efficient workflow Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen Assist in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary Provide excellent service by ensuring timely delivery of meals to the front of house

Qualifications

Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques Experience in food production, including knowledge of various cooking methods Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail A passion for the culinary arts and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour
