Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated commis chef or CDP to join our busy kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in accordance with our restaurant standards. Duties

Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to specified recipes and standards Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery during service hours Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in all aspects of food handling and storage Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, and knives Ensure all food is presented attractively and served at the correct temperature Keep workstations clean, organised, and stocked with necessary ingredients and utensils Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods Follow health and safety regulations at all times, including proper use of PPE

Qualifications

Previous experience in a professional kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods Understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting Good organisational skills and attention to detail A passion for culinary arts and delivering excellent customer service Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends and evenings as required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
