The Kitchen Porter plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring that our chefs can focus on preparing exceptional meals. Duties

Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing dishes, pots, and pans promptly after use. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored correctly after use. Help with meal preparation by organising ingredients and supplies as directed by chefs. Adhere to food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times. Support the kitchen team in various tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations during service periods. Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring that all items are properly labelled and organised.

Skills

Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary environment is advantageous but not essential. Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and a willingness to collaborate with team members. A proactive attitude towards learning new skills related to meal preparation and cooking techniques. Flexibility to assist with various tasks as needed within the restaurant setting.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
