The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring that our culinary team can operate efficiently. Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs, ensuring all ingredients are ready for service.
Support the culinary team by helping with basic cooking tasks when needed.
Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to, maintaining a safe working environment.
Manage waste disposal and recycling processes effectively.
Assist in stock management, including receiving deliveries and organising supplies.
Contribute to a positive atmosphere within the kitchen by demonstrating strong teamwork and communication skills.
Requirements
Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards is highly desirable.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn from experienced chefs.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
