Fine Dining Pub Restaurant

An opportunity has arisen for a part time Commis or Chef De Partie to join The Oakley Arms, an independent 2 AA Rosette fine dining pub restaurant in Harrold, Bedfordshire.

The pub restaurant is in a beautiful village location offering lunch and dinner Wednesday-Saturday and a traditional roast service on a Sunday.

Produce served is sourced from local farmers, breweries and suppliers. The Oakley offers an exciting and creative environment to work in.

In this role you will be required to work across multiple sections in the kitchen, assisting the other CDP's, the Head Chef and Pastry Chef to prepare and serve high quality dishes. The role offers plenty of space to learn and develop and would be most suited to a student or an individual looking to start their career.

Great organisational and prioritisation skills and a strong work ethic are a must!

What will a normal working week look like?

Sorting and rotating stock Preparation tasks in the main and pastry kitchens Cooking Cleaning/organising Following health and safety and best food practices Assisting the directors/chefs with private functions & special menus
