Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Manager to lead the factory commissioning activities for our systems. As the Commissioning Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful installation, testing, and commissioning of our systems at our factory and on client sites. Your responsibilities will include coordinating travel and logistics, managing commissioning schedules, overseeing on-site activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commissioning complex industrial systems, excellent project management skills, and the ability to effectively coordinate resources and logistics.

Responsibilities:

Take overall responsibility for the commissioning process of systems at our factory/test site, ensuring adherence to project schedules, safety protocols, and quality standards.

Coordinate travel and logistics for the site commissioning team, including transportation, accommodations, and any other required arrangements.

Develop and maintain comprehensive commissioning plans, including schedules, checklists, and procedures to ensure smooth and efficient commissioning.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technicians to ensure a seamless transition from installation to commissioning activities.

Conduct pre-commissioning inspections and tests to verify system readiness and compliance with design specifications.

Supervise commissioning activities, providing guidance and support to the commissioning team, and ensuring tasks are executed effectively and safely.

Troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during the commissioning process, coordinating with the engineering team to implement appropriate solutions.

Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to address any concerns, provide regular progress updates, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the commissioning phase.

Maintain accurate documentation of commissioning activities, including test results, reports, and as-built drawings.

Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety procedures during commissioning activities.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in commissioning operations.

Requirements:

Proven experience in commissioning industrial systems, preferably in the energy or manufacturing sector.

Strong understanding of commissioning processes, procedures, and safety protocols.

Familiarity with electrochemical systems, or similar industrial processes would be highly advantageous.

Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and deliver results within defined timelines.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and external stakeholders.

Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and adherence to specifications.

Problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse and resolve technical issues during the commissioning process.

Flexibility to travel to various client sites, both domestically and internationally, as required.

Knowledge of logistics coordination and ability to manage travel arrangements effectively.
