Prep Chef

to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role is perfect for someone eager to develop their skills in all aspects of food preparation, from scratch cooking to working with high-quality, seasonal ingredients. You'll assist in daily mise en place, help with menu prep, and gain valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:



Prepare and portion ingredients for service, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Work across different kitchen sections, including butchery, filleting, and baking. Support the team in creating fresh, seasonal dishes and daily specials. Maintain a clean and organised workstation, adhering to food safety standards. Assist in stock rotation and inventory management. Collaborate closely with the team to ensure smooth service and high-quality output. Take part in menu development, bringing creativity and innovation to our kitchen.

What We're Looking For:



Some experience in a professional kitchen is preferred, but passion and a willingness to learn are most important. A strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Interest in working with fresh, seasonal ingredients and learning new skills. Team player with a positive attitude and great attention to detail. Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings as needed.
