I'm working with a cracking client who's delivering a

major 30-storey new-build project

in London. They're on the lookout for a

strong all-round Installation & Commissioning Engineer

who's confident across

fire, security, and AOV systems

--someone who can

handle the install from start to finish

and support with commissioning too.

If you're an engineer who knows your stuff, doesn't mind

getting your hands dirty

, and likes variety on-site--this is for you.

What You'll Be Doing:

You'll be working on a large-scale site, getting involved in full installs and handovers for:

Fire alarm systems SE Controls smoke vent systems (AOV) Vac systems and intercoms Access control (Comelit, IntroTex, BPT) Heat vision and IPIP CCTV systems Cabling and containment Programming & commissioning systems onsite via laptop
You'll be mainly on construction sites and in the office, helping drive projects to completion. There's a technical lead on the team, so you'll be supported--but they're looking for someone capable of owning the install and seeing it through to commissioning.

What You'll Need:

5-6 years+ experience in fire, security, and AOV install & commissioning Tickets/certs for fire, security & smoke vent systems Comfortable with commissioning using a laptop onsite Strong understanding of site-based installs & project handovers Willing to support with the occasional service call or small works Doesn't matter what age--as long as you've got the skills and attitude

The Package & Setup:

Salary from 35K-55K depending on experience All work is London based and office in Upminster. Join a growing team (currently just two service engineers) Be involved in landmark projects with variety in fire, security, AOV & access systems Support from a dedicated tech lead--but freedom to run your own work
