Commissioning Engineer

Job Description

We are recruiting for a fire alarm engineer with experience across a number of systems that is able to test and commission systems to BS5839; 2025 and in line with BAFE and / or LPCB standards to produce full commissioning paperwork and results.

The suitable candidate will be able to:

Understand All Levels of Fire Design

Understand and Work to Fire Design Categorisation

Test and Commission Systems to Relevant Standards and Categories

Update and Produce all Necessary Paperwork

Liaise with 3Rd Party Interfaces for System Configuration

Demonstrate Compliance

Demonstrate Cause and Effect Matrices

Read and Navigate Drawings

Work with Installation Teams to Produce Best in Class Commissioning

The candidate will be working on a range of systems, mainly addressable systems, from single panel solutions to multi-panel networks across a spectrum of projects, covering commercial environments, large scale residential projects, retail developments, education establishments and a wide variety of other projects and environments.

The relevant person will work across the business, liaising from design and estimating, through to the installation teams and working alongside the service and maintenance teams to have a wide ranging and varied role in the business.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 32,000.00-42,000.00 per year
