Inclusive Outreach are excited to be growing our small, but mighty, team. We are seeking to find another epic human to become a Communication and Outreach Mentor. We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing an awesome Outreach and Mentoring provision, bespoke strategies and time to young people who struggle within the education system.
Our young people have a variety of additional and/or mental health needs and are out of education due to a range of reasons. Inclusive Outreach specialises in delivering bespoke, person-centered communication and outreach mentoring services - we provide opportunities for our students to thrive and as result, their confidence grows.
Our mentors work 1:1 with young people providing them with fun, creative and engaging sessions. All our mentors are supported by Inclusive Outreach's Directors who have backgrounds in speech and language therapy and mental health.
Sessions take place in a variety of settings, including the young person's home and out in the community.
Inclusive Outreach focus, not on the label attached to a diagnosis, but instead on the individual, always aiming to provide the support needed so that our young people are empowered to use strategies and believe in their own superpowers.
Responsibilities:
Session Planning
Note writing
Providing engaging sessions
Lone working with Clients
Being able to work as part of a team
Team meetings
Liaison with other professionals and/or family members
Extra bits;
You will receive regular supervision and clinical supervision to support you in your role.

This role is term-time only, with 3 extra days across the year in school holidays.
We have Pay-Progression Pay-scales that are competitive to the NHS Pay Banding system.
You will be expected to work with clients across the whole BCP area - this is why a car driver is essential to this role.
