Communications Account Manager - 31.71 per hour (Umbrella) - North London / Hybrid
A North London Local Authority is seeking an Interim Communications Account Manager with a strong press office background.
Key Duties:
- Lead communications within a defined portfolio, working closely with senior officers and elected members.
- Deliver integrated campaigns that support corporate objectives.
- Draft and edit press releases, manage media relations and crisis communications.
- Deputise for the Media & Campaigns Manager when required.
- Proven experience in journalism, PR or communications.
- Strong media handling, editorial and campaign delivery skills.
- Knowledge of local government communications and working in a political environment.
- Digital and social media expertise.
