Job Description

We are looking for a

proactive and creative Communications and Engagement Officer

to join Harwich Haven Authority and help us strengthen relationships with our communities, stakeholders, and the wider maritime industry.

About the Role

In this varied role, you will:

Support internal and external communications across multiple channels Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, schools, and community groups Create engaging content for social media, our website, press releases, and corporate publications Represent the Authority at events and deliver outreach activities in the local community Help deliver our media relations, engagement, and schools strategies Monitor communications performance, reporting on impact and trends

About You

We are looking for someone with excellent writing and communication skills, a strong understanding of digital media, and the confidence to represent us externally. Experience in communications, or stakeholder engagement is essential, along with a creative and detail-driven approach.

Pay: 35,000.00-40,000.00 per year
