The Role

As a Communications and Marketing Officer, you will report directly to the Group CEO. You will contribute to the day-to-day development and execution of the internal and external communications strategy of the adi Group.

Specifically, you will:

  • Support the wider business and individual divisions within adi Group with communications expertise.
  • Industry exhibitions \xe2\x80\x93 identifying relevant exhibitions and production of supporting marketing materials.
  • Co-ordinate the company\xe2\x80\x99s internal and external communications, including employee newsletters, emails, social media content, Group App, and digital signage.
  • Develop and implement the digital and social media strategy to improve our online presence and increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Creation of annual communications plans and related strategies
  • Project management of communications initiatives, including stakeholder engagement, managing deadlines, facilitating collaboration between teams, effective communication of objectives and expectations, and reporting to leadership.
  • Reporting on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and as-needed basis.
  • Photo library management including photography at group events.
  • Contribute to the creation of presentations and assets at internal events.
  • Contributing to the organising of the annual employee awards.
  • Facilitate updates to the Group website including uploading news, creating new pages, responding to website enquiries, and managing the monthly maintenance package.
  • Supporting the management of an external PR Agency via weekly calls and being the go-to person to coordinate divisional and Group stories and media assets to accompany PR activities.
  • External awards \xe2\x80\x93 supporting the awards submission process and liaising with relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Setting up divisions and departments on social media platforms as required, ensuring brand consistency and tone of voice. In addition, mentoring personnel on how to use social media platforms where required.
  • Supporting brand management across the Group ensuring consistency of messaging and tone of voice.
About You

To join us as a Communications and Marketing Officer, you will need:
  • Possess a relevant degree or professional qualification in journalism, communications, marketing or PR.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of individuals at all levels across the organisation.
  • Attention to detail, and the ability to proofread and edit information for a range of internal and external communications channels.
  • Proficient and familiar with digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, MailChimp, WordPress, and CMS systems.
  • Analytical skills with proven ability to interpret data.
  • Working knowledge of all major social media platforms.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to deliver projects on time, including prioritising personal workload.
  • Effective and committed team player with the ability to work successfully with others.
  • Good interpersonal and influencing skills with a track record of forming positive and successful working relationships.
  • Excellent IT skills including the ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc).
