ABOUT YOU

You will manage key corporate projects including Annual Report, Financial announcements, Corporate Responsibility campaigns, as well as managing our own Sustainability programme, supporting our businesses globally to ensure we are delivering sustainability excellence across all operations and communicating our impact appropriately to different stakeholder groups in a timely and engaging way.

Required skills and experience:

  • Highly organised individual able to successfully manage multiple stakeholders and projects under time pressures
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with attention to detail
  • Analytical with excel and data analysis skill
  • High energy, driven to succeed
  • Good understanding of best practice social and digital media communications, and evidence of development of content for social and digital media
  • Evidence of development and implementation of strategic communications plans
  • Strong project management skills, and event management, and able to work with autonomy
  • High energy to drive solutions and work at pace with resilience
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Corporate Communications and Sustainability Manager, you will manage internal press office: review/edit press releases, media requests, event and speaking engagement requests from our global businesses - covering every industry, across 100+ countries - providing content, feedback and gaining timely internal approval

Key activities:
  • Manage Corporate Reporting projects - Annual Report project including Strategic Report and Sustainability Report
  • Working with the wider business to promote and protect our brand
  • Develop content strategy and craft the narrative - internal/external
  • Manage media monitoring platforms, daily news summaries and PR coverage for Intertek Group
  • Ensure intertek.com corporate content is up to date/engaging/relevant/precise
  • Draft and edit ad hoc corporate announcements
  • Support with Corporate events including presentation drafting and scripting, design, and logistics
  • Support wider Group Marketing and Comms team with ad hoc projects and events
