This new full-time post is available immediately on a permanent basis. This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working - some time on campus and some from home.
Summary of the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative and successful web team and play a key role in the development of the University of Exeter's websites and digital communication channels.
Leading on web and digital media development, we provide a professional service to the University, working in partnership with faculties and professional services to support strategic aims and objectives.
Taking a content-first strategy, we gather insight about our users experience and AB test to ensure we produce websites to meet our user needs so that our audiences can easily find the information they are looking for. Through use of targeted copy, images, video and audio we develop clean and simple websites, accessible across all digital platforms and for all audiences.
The post holder will play an important role by working closely with the wider team to support our key student recruitment and reputation activities. The post holder will deal with web related enquiries that come into us and will work closely with colleagues across the University, advising on the content, style and organisation of web pages and ensuring that our websites comply with web standards and accessibility as defined by the Web Team. They role will also support our optimisation work and help with administration of our AB testing programme and reporting.
