Job Title: Communications Assistant

Location: Oxford Pharmacy Store, 7 Lombard Way, Banbury, Oxon. OX16 4TJ (Onsite Banbury

Hours: 37.5 hours per week



Working Pattern: Monday - Friday ( 9:00 - 17:00)



Duration: 12 Month



What you'll be responsible for:



Job Summary:



We are seeking a proactive and organised Communications Assistant to support both our Customer Services and Sales & Marketing teams. This dual-role position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety in their work, and is passionate about delivering excellent customer service and clear communication.

You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:



1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:



Customer Services Support



Answering incoming phone calls and directing queries appropriately Responding to customer email enquiries in a timely and professional manner Processing customer orders and maintaining accurate records Handling pricing queries and providing product information Assisting with the preparation and distribution of customer catalogues

Sales & Marketing Support



Coordinating promotional mailings and marketing communications Supporting the team with campaign logistics and follow-ups Maintaining and updating customer contact databases Assisting with the creation and formatting of marketing materials Liaising with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding

You'll have the following skills/experience:



Experience:



Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organisational and multitasking abilities Confident telephone manner and customer-focused approach Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Previous experience in a customer service or marketing support role is desirable.

System Knowledge:



Microsoft Office Experience- Essential

Microsoft Excel advanced - Desirable
