The main purpose of the role is to support extending the reach and visibility of Hywel Dda Health Charities with the aim of increasing awareness and understanding of the charity and its impact and to raise and distribute funds to enhance our local NHS services.
Working closely with the Senior Communications Officer, Fundraising Manager and the charity's fundraising team, the post holder will support the provision of a comprehensive and high-quality communications and administration service.
The aim is to promote the work of our charity, tell the story of our fundraisers and supporters, as well as the impact of our charitable expenditure on the lives of NHS patients, service users and staff.
The Communications Assistant post will deal with enquiries from staff, media, social media and stakeholders; deliver written, audio, design and video content for different platforms; and support events.
The role is integral to the effective running of the charity's fundraising and communications operations, co-ordinating and supporting relevant projects and programmes of work ensuring compliance with the charity's work plan.
Hywel Dda University Health Board plans and provides NHS healthcare services for people living in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, and bordering counties.
