Job Description

The post holder will work as a key member of the communications team to deliver an effective communications service for EPUT, enhancing and promoting the Trust's reputation. This includes supporting a range of external and internal communications activities, and delivering specific pieces of work.



Participate in a range of communications projects including campaigns, engagement strategies, consultations and events as required, adhering to schedules and budgets.

Research and create written and visual content and communications products for electronic and print distribution.

Organise distribution as required using a range of tools, platforms and channels including social media.

Ensure media enquiries are logged, answered or referred on. Monitor media coverage and social media mentions, maintaining records as required.

Maintain distribution lists and contact databases.

Manage team mailboxes ensuring queries are responded to within agreed timeframes.

Ensure consistency in use of the Trust's corporate image and style, in line with NHS branding guidelines.

Develop and maintain knowledge of communication systems and platforms as needed.

Develop positive relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues from teams across the Trust.
