Communications Manager for Global Digital and Tech

Location: GSK House

Office 2-3 days a week required

The Communications Manager for Global Digital and Tech will be responsible for specific internal communications projects, programs, and initiatives designed to inform and engage employees on GSK\'s tech focus and how they can thrive in such an environment. This role will also have responsibility for tracking and reporting progress against key projects and KPIs. Additionally, this person will help on key external communications projects as needed.

You will be a member of the Global Digital and Tech Communications & Government Affairs team.

Key Responsibilities:

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Develop and implement internal communications strategies that engage and inform employees on GSK\'s tech focus and initiatives.
  • Manage specific internal communications projects, programs, and initiatives from ideation to execution, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
  • Partner with members of the Global Digital and Tech Communications & Government Affairs team to track and report progress against key projects and KPIs.
  • Support a variety of key external communications projects as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including senior leaders and subject matter experts
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in internal and external communications, social media, and project management.
  • Work with external vendors and agencies as needed.
  • Ensure all communications adhere to GSK\'s brand guidelines and approval procedures.
Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
  • Communications experience, either at a PR/Comms agency or in a corporate or non-profit communications function
  • Experience in internal communications, project management, and social media.
  • Pharmaceutical, biotech, and/or tech industry experience a plus
Preferred Qualifications:

The following characteristics are also desired:
  • Degree in Communications or Journalism a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
