-Key responsibilities:


Lead communications around De Beers' sustainability framework- Building Forever - to consumers and other interested parties; with the aim of raising awareness of the benefits that De Beers and natural diamonds bring, supporting differentiation and desirability for the Group and our brands. Drive the development, testing and refining of De Beers Group's industry-leading sustainability messaging. Lead and manage cross functional engagement to continue tailoring sustainability messaging and materials to align with needs and positioning of the different brands, including by: Facilitating and driving De Beers London's sustainability communications - to ensure Building Forever is felt within the customer experience and becomes a core purpose to buy a DBL diamond - by engaging and activating across digital, VM, marketing and events. Facilitating impact storytelling within the Code of Origin app experience, to demonstrate how natural diamonds are driving impact within their countries of origin Providing Forevermark with sustainability materials and messaging for store and digital sites Supporting natural diamond category marketing activations and campaigns with access to key sustainability messaging, content and spokespeople to support the differentiation of and desire for natural diamonds Promoting education across the industry to tackle misconceptions, including driving development of sustainability training materials, fact sheets and myth-busting materials for external and internal teams including brand ambassadors, retail partners and social media influencers. Supporting the development of adhoc collections/ campaigns to drive sustainability messaging and benefits Driving further reach and impact from the annual publication of the Group sustainability report through ongoing communications activities. Engage with internal coms to ensure Building Forever is seen and felt by employees as a source of pride. Support and equip employees to become Building Forever ambassadors by sharing drumbeat of key messages and stories across different formats. Equip senior leadership and the executive team with key sustainability messaging, stories, facts and figures to facilitate their engagements across the world. Drive return on investment from key sustainability partnerships through quality communications, including across internal, social, media and events. Promote De Beers' credibility in industry, such as through thought leadership events, awards, media coverage, training materials and testing a regular newsletter Engage with legal team to reduce reputational risks associated with greenwashing

Qualifications

-You will have:


Degree level qualifications Significant experience leading a premium / luxury brand globally. Significant experience in sustainability
Knowledge and Technical skills:


In-house experience working on a luxury / premium / jewellery brand. Ability to think long term while juggle short term priorities. Great collaboration skills - will need to work across markets and functions. Energetic and self-motivated with a bias to action Values and role models a diverse, inclusive working environment in which everyone can work to their full potential. International travel will be required from time to time
