We are looking for a dynamic and talented individual to provide specialist communications support to our ambitious hospital reconfiguration programme, Tomorrow’s NUH. The Communications Manager will be responsible for delivering high quality communications to support our hospital reconfiguration programme, Tomorrow’s NUH. The role has a particular focus on managing communications to support a public consultation on proposals for changes to our local hospital services. Tomorrow’s NUH is part of the Government’s Hospital Infrastructure Plan (HIP), which aims to build 40 new hospitals by 2030, backed by an initial £3.7 billion across the country. For Nottingham this represents a once-in-a-generation opportunity to improve our hospital services, facilities and buildings to help us achieve our ambition for everyone in our area to live longer, healthier and happier lives. With a particular focus on helping to deliver a public consultation on proposals to changes to our hospital services, you will take the lead on providing high quality communications support to the programme. You will work with internal and external stakeholders across a fast-paced and complex programme. You will need excellent writing skills and experience managing communications for complex change programmes. Experience of formal public consultations in the NHS would be particularly advantageous You will be based within the CCG but will work across our partner organisations.
