RCI Group is growing, and with that growth comes the need for strong, consistent and purposeful communication. We are looking for an experienced Communications Manager to sit at the centre of our Sales and Marketing function, shaping how we present ourselves externally and how we connect internally across our services.
This is a hands on role with real influence. You will lead the planning and delivery of marketing and communications activity across the Group, supporting brand visibility, service awareness, employee engagement and commercial growth. Working closely with senior leaders, you will turn strategy into clear messaging, campaigns and content that reflects who we are, what we do and why it matters.
Based from our Stevenage office and reporting to the Group Marketing Director, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership, build structure and leave a lasting imprint on a purpose led organisation.
Job Opportunity
The Communications Manager will be responsible for planning, delivering and evaluating marketing and communications activity across RCI Group and its service businesses.
Key areas of responsibility include:
Developing and owning annual marketing plans aligned to organisational priorities
Working with leadership teams to shape content, messaging and communication strategy
Translating business objectives into clear, engaging campaigns and content
Planning and delivering multi channel marketing activity across digital, print and events
Creating high quality content for websites, social media, newsletters and marketing collateral
Managing and developing digital platforms, with particular focus on LinkedIn and websites
Ensuring all content reflects brand standards, values and service quality
Brand and digital ownership will be central to the role, including:
Maintaining brand consistency across all platforms and materials
Managing Canva templates and producing professional visual assets
Supporting teams to correctly apply brand guidance and use shared assets
Overseeing the development and maintenance of multiple websites
Internal communications will form a key part of the role, with responsibility for:
Establishing clear and consistent internal communication rhythms
Keeping colleagues informed, aligned and engaged across the Group
Working with leaders and teams to gather stories, updates and insights
Creating content that reinforces our mission, culture and achievements
Performance, insight and reporting responsibilities include:
Tracking campaign performance and engagement metrics
Using data to refine content, channels and overall effectiveness
Providing clear, regular reporting to senior stakeholders
Supporting audit, compliance and quality reporting where required
This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands on delivery, with the confidence to operate at pace while maintaining high standards.
Essential Skills

Proven experience delivering marketing and communications activity
Strong written communication and digital content creation skills
Advanced Canva capability with a strong eye for design
Experience managing websites using WordPress and Elementor
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint and Word
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Confident stakeholder engagement skills, including at senior level
Desirable
Experience within healthcare or public sector environments
Understanding of healthcare commissioning or procurement processes
Experience with SEO, SEM and digital campaign optimisation
