Work that goes beyond your desk

The Content Editor will support the existing Senior Content Editor to develop and improve our existing web offering. The candidate will be involved in managing BAU requests, triaging and liaising with stakeholders to understand more about the needs, working with the wider comms team to develop appropriate promotion of content, editing and uploading content to the Umbraco CMS, working with Content Designers and Editors to improve the website offering for users, playing a key part in developing content for key corporate priority projects.
The Content Editor should have previous experience of:
Managing and actioning BAU requests
Being involved in projects and supporting to develop content briefs
Working with stakeholders to improve content
Respect for your expertise
This is a highly important role within our Governance, Performance & Engagement Portfolio, which means you'll need:
Relevant degree and/or equivalent experience in content editing role
Previous experience working with CMS systems
Demonstrable experience of the application of WCAG 2.2 AA principles and standards
Experience of working with users, gathering user feedback, analysing and turning this into better content
Proven track record of managing website editing requests and developing new content as well as managing a content lifecycle
