Due to expansion, TextureJet is seeking a highly motivated individual to join its fast-growing team. As a relatively young company with an innovative product, getting that technology - and its benefits - in front of a wide audience is key to our success. The Communications and PR Executive will report directly to the Communications & PR Manager.

The successful candidate will support the Communications & PR Manager in shaping how the company is viewed both externally and internally. Writing press releases and articles, creating content for newsletters and social media, assisting with exhibitions, and liaising with the media will all be key aspects of the role.

A creative and proactive mindset will be essential, with the ability to think outside the box and bring fresh ideas that support the needs of the sales team. Equally important will be strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

TextureJet is primarily a B2B business in a niche market, so the focus is on creating awareness of the benefits of its technology - producing compelling content and ensuring it reaches target audiences through key media and digital channels. The role is diverse, with every day being different, so the right candidate will need to remain flexible, adaptable, and enthusiastic in their approach.

Responsibilities:

Delivering the company message externally (developing press releases, news stories, blogs, consistent social media presence, newsletters, leaflets) Working with the technical side of the business to extract the basis of new content Helping to deliver the company image Media liaison with key trade titles, websites etc Media monitoring Updating social media and website with news and articles including optimising SEO Attending exhibitions and supporting with exhibition preparation Supporting the Communications & PR Manager with generating reports and data for presentation to the CEO, board, and investors Creating photo and video content on a regular basis (in-house and with a professional photographer)
Texture Jet is willing to support external training in appropriate and related subject areas supporting the candidate's professional development within this role.

Requirements:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills - able to craft press releases, media pitches and engaging content

Minimum 2:1 in a PR/Comms based degree

This is a graduate role but some experience in a communications-based role is a plus

Media relations expertise - understand how to build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors and influencers

Confident to work in and explore a creative environment

An understanding of social media across a variety of platforms albeit focused on LinkedIn

A strong willingness to learn about a unique product and capability in the advanced manufacturing sector

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Understanding of PR strategy and how PR integrates with the broader marketing and brand objectives

Experience of WordPress or similar website software tools or willingness to learn

Experience of Google Analytics or willingness to learn

Experience of Canva or willingness to learn

General software competencies Office 365 package (Word, Excel etc.)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Graduate

Pay: 24,420.00-26,000.00 per year
